my first

my first concert was with my girlfriend Karen (this is a concert not festival). last year i realized that my favorite band was going to break up and was holding one more concert around the united states and i couldn't stop thinking about it. this daunted me for months and when tickets went on sale i was the first one to buy. i asked a few family members who also liked the band. when they told me the venue they were going to i bought tickets right away. i bought 2 tickets in case i wanted to invite someone. the tickets were cheap compared to others because it was a indie progressive band. so after buying the tickets my brother who i was going to give the ticket to couldn't go so i asked around and the first person who could go was Karen. we made plans to my house and my cousin could drive us afterward. this was set in stone and i asked my dad for money in any case something happen, so he gave me $40 and i left. when we got there the venue was small, so we immediately went to the front of the show to listen to the bands prior to Rx bandits (the main band). We got hungry and went out to get tacos, so we crossed the street and saw the sun was going down so we hurried and ate, then went back in to see it was packed. we went to the merchandise booth and i got myself a shirt and she got the same one but in a different color. we then went to see the end of the starting band. we passed and squeezed through the crowd to get about 10 feet from the stage, then the lights dimmed and the band got of the stage. We waited about 10 minutes and the drummer walked on stage. as we made small talk the band walked on stage and i couldn't be happier. As they got ready for their first song everyone was going crazy launching each other throughout the small venue. as the first strum of the guitar i knew what song it was, and along with everyone else pushed and shoved my way to the song. the music filled the venue and the smell of sweat and armpits filled the air. i couldn't care less, and when we got tired of pushing and shoving we went out into the small hallway to take a breath, but as we did that i saw a familiar face walk through the hallway and waved hi to me. it was the piano player in the band that played before Rx bandits. I was in shock and before he left my line of sight i called out to him if i could get a picture. after what seemed like forever he agreed and i got next to him. Karen took the picture and my smile would not leave my face. this was the best night of my life so far. we got back inside and i heard my favorite song coming on and grabbed her by the hand and rushed her into the crowd. when they began to play "infection" i used all my energy pushing and shoving my way through the crowd along with her. after that the band got off the stage and everyone roared for a encore. we all chanted happy birthday to the bass player and we wouldent stop chanting until they came back out and played their first song over again which still was what i wished my night would end like. as we got back home I took my much needed shower and went to bed a happy person.

the Google glasses and what they have in store are just the beginning. the idea of these futuristic glasses has been a amazing idea, somehow bringing us closer to the idea of out flying cars and hovering houses like the Jefferson's. this idea is great, but only as a idea because when you get down to it you must remember that when you go out you see those people who cant put their phone down and you just cant stop but think what are we going to come to. this world is going to be less and less what the idea of making friends would be like. on this post they talk about how we are going to not only see more muggings, but people will lose there since of communication face to face with there peer, instead they could be literally non-stop on Facebook. dont get me wrong i mean i would love to have a pair just to test out, but this would be like if i were busy and i couldent do anything because i was using my hands already. i love this idea, but we as a people need to also learn to have a balance between the two.

free write on random thoughts

hmmm well this is going to be interesting because i feel i can write what i think and this is going to happen for the first time in about a year hmmmm ok well how do we know we are all seeing the same colors, like is my blue your blue? hmmm well if you see what you get then why cant we all judge a book by its cover? hmmm well why are camera lenses round? if my picture comes out as a square? hmmm why is it called the common cold if its a new virus every time? why is communism communism if it still has leaders? hmm how do we know that the light we see when we die isent us coming out of a vagina into the next life. sorry i dident know what to use differently from that sentence word usage wise. if the early bird catches the worm, then doesent the early worm get eaten? if one day is the earth rotating on its axis, and " it took god 6 days to make earth", then how did he tell time? if we expect the unexpected, doesent that make it expected?
I don't think i can just speak of one topic i wrote about, but as a generality is not the mind interesting? i think silly thoughts like this all the time, and i know i am not the only one, these silly rants about how people see the world is silly.

A college in the U.K. the college ,University of Strathclyde has spent $2.2m for a collar which is worn by cows to detect how they are doing, for example if they’re sick. This collar uses the same motion sensor technology as the Nintendo Wii controller. This technology is very helpful because it sends the farmer a text on his personal cell phone that a cow is sick, or he is in extreme heat which is very important to keep the cow and his products healthy. This is a work in progress, and is still testing for full potential, but we can see a strong future. The motions sensor is 3D and can tell what position the cows head is in, for instance if its head is down its probably sick. All these projects are to help us common workers in a urban environment to live a life with better food and heath because of the food, because at any time this cow could have gotten sick and we could have eaten a potentially deadly cow who was not healthy and who should have not contributed to being our food. These measures are really good and I think people should look into funding this project.

what we might have in store for computers

Computers today have been changing rapidly. We have many things coming out such as holographic keyboards. To just think that a room filled with heavy equipment was used to store about 2 GB’s of memory, when now in 2012 we have a tiny iPod shuffle that holds up to 64 GB’s and the iPod is about the size of a new born infants hand. This is an extremely fast rate, because not only are we getting such radical new technology, but with this the extremely fast rate of our civilization will change along with it. All this technology will get us to anywhere we want such as mars, or live on the moon. Well as these computers are being made we could think that a room of large equipment was just the beginning because now we have amazing computers with anyone’s personality in mind. There are computers which are great for students, or some that are good for stay at home moms. This is a range of people that are endless, from amateur and professional athletes, to amateur and professional videogame players. There are computers for just about anything. This is a wide topic which is also very detailed in the thought that it is also a still growing business. These advancements are expanding, which is just the starting for how we as a race of thinkers will become able to travel to any planet and maybe one day we could travel outside this galaxy. Who knows what’s in store for us, all we know is that we have a great chance of prospering from this technological age.

our health chat

When we were surprised with a guest speaker, i knew we were in for a treat. This class was getting somewhat more interesting. When i saw that we were having a health presentation i was shocked because i was only taught one thing about nutrition, which was milk was good, make sure you eat your meat for protein, and im to young to worry about consequences. This was such a shock i wasn't able to accept it until later that day because when i was about to eat for the day, (to make up for my breakfast, lunch, and dinner) my jaw dropped because i was already making myself 2 double stacked ham and cheese sandwiches, a cup o' noodle, a big glass of apple juice, and a bag of popcorn. This was a tray of very large and filling food that i was going to inject after a day of sitting in class and sleeping in bed. This was going to be a very unhealthy sitting. It was around 8 at night and i was going to eat that while playing a game which requires no movement what so ever so there is no way i could somewhat exercise some of it. this was a awkward moment because for a second i was thinking of not eating it. then it dawned on me that i could start another day. I lost that battle, and i trust that this is not going to begin any time soon, but when it does this will be such a sudden change.

"musical blog"

there was a new super hero in town. with a brown cape and a silver mask he ran to people in need. as he arrived to the first pedetrien in need he soon noticed he was able to stop time. the first thing he did with the power was going around and give villiens super weggies. this super weggie was when someone their was another super hero that was able to undo what this new super hero did. He was really unusually distracted and he was really weird that he, the villen, was able to undo the super weggies, this villen recruted all the other villens that had been getting the super weggies and got really together to get revenge in the super hero. The super hero then found out about this villens joinging together. He seeked them out trying to figure out there plan but as he got closer he feared that they might seem him coming it wasnt until later that he realized they were coming after him. It was only a matter of time before they did so he swung into action and decided he would try to trap them somehow or just fight them all one by one. He did the same and gatherd the worlds strongest super heros to fight the villins. An epic fight broke out over the city of huntington park as good clashed versuse evil. The super heros apeared to be winning when out of the blue an army of evil minions came to reinforce the villins. Yet the super heros kept fighting and never gave up. The super heroes called the power rangers to come and help them. The rangers went in with full force to help the super heoes out. The transformed into a big giant dinasoar that scared the villans straight out of Huntington Park. The people of Huntington Park threw a whole fair for them. Thats the reason why we have a fair every year. To celibrate that huge victory.

this winter brake

this winter brake i had my shares of highs and lows. my lows were so unique, for instence i began this winter brake with a big bang!!!(because i caught up on my sleeping). well as it turns out i over slept my orientation for volenttering at a pet shelter so i rushed over there brushing my teeth in the car, only to find it was cancled and i was rushing myself so early in the morning just to be disappointed. later that day i recived a email about the cancelation, turns out i was the last one on the email list. a high i had was that my vacations revolved around playing videogames. i logged a aproxamite 150 hours into playing videogames. i watched 136 episodes of how i met your mother ( no repeats) and finished 6 seasons.
my goal this year is to get a A on geometry. i so want to get a grade point average of 3.5 and i want to get a B on my spanish  class because i dont want to get another C.
a positive thing about coming back to school is seeing my friends on a day to day basis. i missed the consistency of being at school.
