Hello, today we I am working with my partner, Dolores and I, jerry. We will be speaking about a famous quote by Oscar Wilde.  “A man's face is his autobiography. A woman's face is her work of fiction.” Dolores told me that her interpretation of the quote was that a men’s face speaks its expressions through his face and a women hides there expression by telling white lies and not being honest with the person she is talking to. As I agreed about a part of it, I couldn’t help but think that the part of the man was slightly off because it is more as he is a hard worker with the tiredness and sore eyes he would have. This is something I see as a slight miscommunication because of the fact that she thought the man would be a person who just does what he thinks is right by telling them. This is correct as well and like everyone knows people have different interpretations on a certain quote. We chose this quote because we could see this quote bringing a smile to someone’s face if they would walk by. This quote is somewhat of a stereotype because not all women do this; the same goes with men. While this is a quote we chose together we couldn’t help disagreeing because of the fact that people have there interpretations and think of other thinks.

kindle fire vs. nook tablet... which is better?

the artical i read was on a debate between kindle fire and nook tablet. well in a heated debate, there was a slight win on topics by the nook, but are they worth it? would you rather have a better reading experience, or a more memory? would you rather have a longer battery life or keyboard? well as this debate goes on i will go with the underdog (kindle fire), souly for the fact that it has longer battery life, better reading experience, better looking and i dont see myself doing anything serious with it beside reading. that is why i have my computer and ipod.

tips on excel I learned

certain things i have learned on excel have helped me in most of my assignments in class. the thing i learned most is the extend tool on the bottom right of a cell. this would help me in most of my classes. it saves me so much time, time that i could spend working of something else like perfecting the assignment. this tool would help you fill any sum, average or any other equation that would be needed within a certain area. excel would be thought of as a business tool, for the common accountant, but i think this could and should be used in real life because it can help sort certain things in your household that would be know to be a struggle to keep track of. when bills and money are getting tighter you can create something to help you keep track of it such as a budget or a list of what you are buying. i really like how excel can be simple to use for the common man, but can be complected enough for the professional worker. this wouldn't be such a bad tool when you have a research project coming up and you need to know what group was higher in what test then another group. i would like to learn how excel could work in a project. this class should have a project where we find information, input the data, and we are asked questions. this could help with our teamwork in classes and it can help with our excel skill.

resrictions on internet?

network nutrality is a phrase which means,people have the right to do as they please and do anything on the internet. as this might sound confusing for some, others find it simplistic and nessesery. people who would like nothing more then to make there own website, exchange greetings with a friend, or just a simple game to be played. there is a down side to this so called network nutrality; people who are not digital citizens, and want nothing more then to hack someones acount would be more then welcome because it is now easyer and faster to get someones account. this would mean that in place of freedom on the internet, would you take the risk of getting robbed? now its also something that can come up into everyday ideas, such as our gonvernment; if we dident have a gonvernment we would be free to do as we please: walk down the street naked, punch someone in the face, or even just vandalise a store. as i mentioned earlyer the restrictions are now unlimited, so there would be murder, stealing. would you want to live in a world where there is no higher power? this is a question i would ask myself, but i take the blessing that we do have people helping put restrictions on the internet, just as we have people putting restrictions in our laws.

In the new soul caliber game there are expanding their vast selection of characters with a few people might already know. This franchise has been known for bringing people in from other games such as link from legend of Zelda series, Yoda from star wars, and who can forget the very evil very powerful Darth Vader also from star wars. Well there back and with a twist. People who play the game will be surprised to find out that Ezio Auditore, the lead character from the Assassins Creed series is on the game. This is not set in stone, but we know he will be let out to be a playable character, we just don’t know if we will have to buy him from the servers, or he will come already in the game. This game is definitely interesting to follow, because if you’re a fan of Soul Caliber, Assassins creed, or just a fan a fast pace beat down game. This series has been a serious competitor in the fighting category, competing against fans of Tekken, Marvel vs. Capcom, Streetfighter, and blaze blue series. In my personal opinion I am considering buying this game, but it will have to be debated between Resident Evil Operation Raccoon city, Battlefield 3, and the always favorite Call of Duty franchise.

A cover letter is a letter in which is a broad overview of what you would bring to a company, school, job, ect. When people are hiring they are looking for a financial asset to their company. A cover letter would include your skills and attributes; name yourself as a individual whenever possible; make that page dense with information, but make it less than a page long; A font size at or above 10; include personal data such as address, phone number, email and name; be sure to proof read your letter for grammatical, or spelling errors.

            Enter your purpose and pursuing position; using powerful actions phrases to describe your personal skills, interests, and abilities. Encourage reader to look at your resume with urge and ability to see its potential. Show you have researched this company and that you are ready to being at this establishment as soon as possible. Speak of unique skills.

Broadcast Technicians

A career I am looking into is to be a Broadcast Technician. As I am unsure of what I want to do in terms of a career, this field is one I would enjoy working in. it works in a field that I am very much interested in. The income is between $24,000-64,000 annually. This careers’ disruption is to Set up, operate, and maintain the electronic equipment used to transmit radio and television programs. Control audio equipment to regulate volume level and quality of sound during radio and television broadcasts. Operate radio transmitter to broadcast radio and television programs.

            I believe this is a valuable job because radio and television is everywhere. There are great amounts of television throughout every city. The amount of radio used is high so I believe this job would always have a place for me. There wouldn’t be a time when I wouldn’t have a job, for the reason that no one would use this as a idea for a career. I am interested because I am skilled at electronics and working together. I don’t mind being behind the scenes.

            This job is vast, because I could be stabilizing volume, to fixing a green screen. The skills and requirements are from being able to controlling operations of equipment or systems, monitor/assess performance of myself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action, performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed, teaching others how to do something, understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents, conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

new apple campus

Lately apple has been working on building a new campus. This will be there third one that exists, (other two are located in the middle of silicon valley, and the second one is located in Cupertino). Not much has been said yet about the new campus, but rumors are expecting the company to have the building up and running by 2015. People are speculating that the campus is going to be shaped as a "space ship". There was a debate last night, about how the city will be changed and so on and so forth. apple has been working on certain ideas to keep innovating ever since Steve jobs has come into play and I believe this will work out in the long run because it will take people to build it and people to run the campus it is putting people to work faster and harder than they would have. Apple is helping this wicked economy with this idea that, will not only stimulate the funds to the average worker on this project, but will advance us in technology. Many people can argue about this idea and the city problems, but bottom line is we make some trees fall; we put up an eco-friendly building that helps stabilize the economy, and puts us in a better advantage for future technology. Soon people will grasp the idea that apple is trying to help the United States, but until that day, they will keep helping and keep inspiring other companies to do the same (come on Google you should be in on this to).
